TripAdvisor, one of the world’s most prestigious websites, which evaluates the quality of tourist destinations, recently presented the Excellence Certificate 2012 to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (VME).
With 420 votes, the Museum was ranked among the most attractive tourism destinations in Hanoi.
Located on an area of 2,480sqm in Nguyen Van Huyen street, Cau Giay district, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology displays exhibits, films and photos, highlighting the cultural features of 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Besides, this Museum has also built communal houses of ethnic groups, such as E De and Ba Na, to give visitors a chance to contemplate ethnic groups’ cultural space in Hanoi.
Over the past 15 years, the Museum has been a favourite spot for both Vietnamese and international visitors coming to learn more about the daily life and culture of different ethnic groups.
