The Vienna Chamber Orchestra perform The Toyota Classics 2012 featuring, Japanese guitarist Soichi Muraji and Vietnamese talented violinist Le Hoai Nam will take place in Hanoi next month.
The concert, which is in its 23rd year in Asian Pacific and 15th year in Vietnam, will bring local classical music lovers famous repertoires under the baton of Japanese maestro Joji Hattori. Acclaimed Japanese guitarist Soichi Muraji and Vietnamese talented violinist Le Hoai Nam will join the event.
“I will perform two works by Tchaikovsky and one by Saint-Saëns. I believe that the concert will bring audiences and classical music lovers an interesting journey to many countries through music,” Nam expressed.
Besides Vietnam, the concert will tour South Korea, Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines. The concert, jointly held by Toyota Motor Vietnam, will take place at Hanoi Opera House on November 4th, 2012. All proceeds will be donated towards supporting young music talents around Vietnam.
Tickets costing from VND500,000 (US$24) to VND1 million (US$48) are now available at the venue.
Last year, Toyota Motor Vietnam organized a concert titled Toyota Concert Tour Vietnam 2011 in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City. The concert featured performances by 13-year-old violinist Do Phuong Nhi and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Japanese Tetsuji Honna.
